Judi A. Tuin, 67, of Kalamazoo, Michigan, passed away suddenly in Florida, Tuesday, March 2, 2010 with a Brain Aneurysm. She was a graduate from Portage High school. Judi retired from Bronson Hospital after 34 years of service. She was preceded in death by her parents, Melvin and Marge Veld; one brother, David Veld of Kalamazoo; and one sister, Darlene Robinson of Florida. She is survived by her husband, William Tuin of 24 years; two sons, Dennis and Mylinda Cubitt of Kalamazoo, Ronald and Lynn Cubitt of Kalamazoo; one step-son, Tim and Ann Tuin of Kalamazoo; one daughter, Deanna Holmes; one brother, Jerry and Nancy Veld of Kalamazoo; two sisters, Diane Ford of Lake Panasoffkee, FL and Lois and Jim Thomas of Coldwater, MI; brother-in-law, Frank Robinson of FL. Also brother-in-law, Bob and Judy Tuin of Kalamazoo; sister-in-law, Jean and Terry Wolthuis of Kalamazoo; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and her beloved dog, Shadow. Cremation has taken place and there will be no services.
