Kalamazoo, Michigan, the daughter of Joseph J. and Mary (Sebetich) Lapekas.
She was a 1960 graduate of Portage Central High School, and a member of St.
Monica Catholic Church. Mary Jo was preceded in death by her father; and one
brother, Joseph Glen Lapekas. Surviving are her mother of Kalamazoo; sister,
Nancy (Gary) Zeran of Portage; nephew, Ronald (Michelle) Cole of Pinckney;
several aunts, uncles and cousins. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11:00
a.m. Saturday at St. Monica Catholic Church, 534 W. Kilgore with The Rev.
Larry Farrell, Celebrant. Interment will follow in Mt. Ever-Rest Cemetery.
