Tom Carlson

Thomas Peter Carlson of Portage, Michigan, a loving husband, father and grandfather has gone to play his eternal game of golf on September 19, 2014. He leaves behind his loving wife, Carol; son, Len (Angie) Carlson; daughter, Jodi (Tom) Richardson; daughter, Sondra (David) Rader; and son, Tom (Amber) McFall; his pride and joy grandchildren, Zach, Kaitlen, James, Trent, Carter, Tarek, Lauren, Gavin, Wyatt, Erin, Gage, Holt, Gavaan and Gianna; and many loving cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. Tom was a man who touched so many lives and will be missed by all. He had a love for life and people. He served with the 101st Airborne in the United States Army. He spent years as a master carpenter following in the footsteps of his father and grandfather. His woodwork was admired and treasured by all. He loved spending time with family and friends playing cards, golfing, doing projects or just joking around.
