Parker, Constance K. 7/29/1942 – 6/30/2018 Portage Age 75, passed away at home surrounded by family on June 30, 2018. She was born in Kalamazoo on July 29, 1942, the daughter of the late Conrad and Frances (Luteyn) Rynbrand. Constance was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who will be missed by all who loved her. She was kind, gentle and selfless. She was always willing to help those in need and worked hard to provide a happy loving home for her family. Her door and her heart were always open. She was employed by Bronson hospital and later worked at Oudings Greenhouse. When not working she enjoyed spending time at Sandy Pines Resort where she could be found working in her yard planting flowers. She also enjoyed playing cards with friends. Above all Constance loved her family and was especially proud of her grandchildren. She leaves behind the legacy of a life well lived. On November 11, 1960, she married the love of her life Chuck Parker who survives. She is also survived by two daughters, Lori (Jason Gaunt) Grantham, Susan (Brian) Anspaugh; three grandchildren, Joshua Clysdale, Ian Anspaugh, Zachary Grantham; a great-grandson, Jackson Clysdale; two step-siblings, Susan (Jim) Rhoades, Jack (Diane) Mater; her faithful dog “Nick.” A visitation will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, July 5, 2018, from 6:00 to 8:00 PM. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Friday, July 6, 2018, beginning at 1:00 PM. Interment at Mt. Ever-Rest Memorial Park.
